About us

Our Exterior Home Painting includes these basic but important steps.

1. We pressure wash every exterior we paint thoroughly prior to painting.
2. The next step is to examine the surface for any loose paint or broken caulk.
3. Scrape loose paint.
4. Re-caulk using Sherwin Williams SherMax™ Urethanized Elastomeric Sealant.
5.. Apply two-coats of *paint to home allowing ample drying time in-between coats.

*While we recommend Sherwin William's SuperPaint® Exterior Acrylic Latex as the best choice for the exterior, we will use which ever brand you feel comfortable with.

FENCE STAINING AND REPAIR

The best way to extend the life of any exterior surface is to keep it properly protected from seasonal weather changes and the sun's damaging uv's. Fences, because of their porous nature are prone to early deterioration caused by these two factors.

Our Fence Staining Service includes,

1. Pressure washing surface leaving ample drying time prior to staining.
2. *Stain fence, again with two coats, of oil base or acrylic stain.

When choosing an oil-base product, wet on wet coats are required.
When choosing an acrylic-based product, ample drying time in between coats is required.

*While many coatings claim superior life and color retention we recommend using an oil base if you are trying to achieve a brighter more natural looking surface -or- an acrylic product if you are willing to compromise some clarity of color to achieve a longer lasting finish.

Life of a typical oil-base coating in full sun - 1 to 2 years.
Life of a superior acrylic-base coating in full sun - 3 to 4 years.

Of course durability will vary somewhat given daytime uv exposure on the surface.
